The purpose of the Print-Trader website is a very simple. We aim to put professional digital print buyers and sellers in touch with each other to enable them to exchange 2nd user equipment.
Many of our customers have an older asset that they would like to realise the residual value on but they do not have an easy avenue to find a customer. This site is designed to fill that gap in the market.
Print-Trader does not buy & sell second user equipment via this site, the site just enables people who want to buy and sell to make contact.
Naturally Print-Trader reserves the right to refuse or remove an insert if it deems that it is appropriate to do so.
If you want to sell
First create a User Account for yourself and then click on Sell!
It really is that easy - simply select the relevant category and sub-category to ensure your printer is listed in the most relevant section where interested buyers can find it, add a description and some pictures, and any other relevant information, and your listing will be added for Admin aproval - within 24 hours we will review your listing, make any necessary changes, and and it to the site where it will remain until it sells!
If you want to buy
Click on the printer or product of interest, and if you like what you see, click on Make an Offer, submit an offer and we will will forward your offer to the Seller for consideration.
You will also find a useful 'Ask Seller a Question' function - feel free to use this to find out more about the particular printer or product that you are interested in.
What does Print-Trader do?
We actively promote the site to our own customer base and to new customers via a sustained media and internet advertising campaign.
Properly qualify every enquiry to ensure that only really serious prospective sellers & buyers are put in contact with each other.
Put the prospective buyer in direct contact with the seller to complete the negotiations and the final sale.
Monitor the transaction to final completion and assist in negotiations where necessary.
What does it cost?
It costs nothing just to insert your equipment on the site and leave it listed until sold. In all case no sale means no fee.
Upon completion of a sale, Print-Trader will invoice the seller a fixed agency fee of 15% of the final total sale value achieved (excluding VAT).
Who pays who?
The contract for sale is between the seller and the buyer and Print-Trader has no involvement in this transaction, hence all terms including payment have to be agreed between the buyer and the seller prior to shipment.
Print-Trader will invoice the seller once the transaction is complete. Payment in full by the seller will be required on receipt of invoice.
